This beautiful wool (with cotton warp) rug is a large one--4 X 6 feet. Authentic ones would cost more than $1000. This one is a reproduction so it's much less. It's an older rug and is not perfect. There is some damage around the edge--you can see the worst section in the last image and there are some smaller areas on other places on the edge, but all damage is in the black colored edge, not is the middle. There is also a streak or two on it that you can also see in the last image--I believe it could be cleaned. Even with the damage it would still be a beautiful wall hanging--the top edge could be covered with the wood that would be used for support for hanging it. The weaving looks like it is hand done and it's possible the wool used is hand spun--I am not an expert on the differences between hand spun and machine spun, but there are many bumps and irregularities in the wool yarn.
