Made of beautiful - rugged 5/6 oz. full grain Hermann Oak veg tan leather (which will break in beautifully) ; it will develop a wonderful natural patina over time as only full grain veg tan leather can do. (Gets better with age)

***Please allow a couple of weeks for construction***
(See BELOW for How I Make This Case)

The case shown is hand stained in Antique Brown. it is stitched using heavy duty BROWN thread and assembled in my shop in Illinois. However, I do offer different stitch colors as an option at checkout. (Note: I'm told the stitch color looks 'natural' on some monitors due to a reflection in the photo, however, it is brown in the photo.)

IMPORTANT: I cut the case to fit an Ipad Pro without any type of add on cover. If you need the case bigger to accommodate an add on cover (such as smart cover or any other) let me know at checkout and I'll make it wider to accommodate the add on cover.

Has a brown leather wrap around closure that doesn't get in the way of the good looks of the leather.

********************FREE Hand Stamped Initials******************

As my way of saying THANK YOU for your purchase, I will gladly hand stamp up to 3 initials on the front flap of the case. (Please note: there are NO dots between letters)

I stamp them in a half inch or quarter inch OPEN FACE helvetica style font.

Just let me know the three initials in the instructions to seller AND if you want LARGER (Half inch) or the SMALLER quarter inch font. If you don't specify, I'll use the HALF inch.

SHIPPING:

DOMESTIC ORDERS: Will ship usps Priority Mail with delivery confirmation to any location within the US.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Small case ships USPS first class mail. Please note the large cases will ship priority due to the box size.
If you purchase the small case, I will refund the shipping difference back to your PayPal account.

thank you for looking.

*****HOW I MAKE THIS CASE in ANTIQUE BROWN*****
Making this case requires quite a bit of prep time, plus one whole day for finish. Using the process I do renders a beautiful GLOW to the leather not achievable any other way. Here's what I do.

1: I cut the leather from a side of (expensive) Hermann Oak veg tan.
I edge the leather using a special tool called an "edger". (imagine that)
I dampen the leather and stamp on your initials on the front flap(Or wherever you want them) and stamp my makers mark on the back out of the way.
I poke the stitch holes using a 4 prong diamond awl and a divider.
I apply a very WET first coat of a special stain mixture.
I let the first coat DRY overnight as the leather is pretty much saturated at this point.

2: I apply four to five LIGHT washes of a leather dye and let that dry a couple of hours. When dry I apply 4 to 5 light WASHES of a darker dye. I then let everything dry overnight.

3: If necessary, I add another light coat of yesterdays dye...if not, I apply 2 light washes of an antiquing stain and let that dry for at least 3 hours.

If I'm satisfied with the overall color, I'm ready to oil the leather with a light coat of neatsfoot, and let it soak in overnight.

4: If everything looks satisfactory, I'll apply 1 light coat of an old finish formula that dates back many decades. This renders a mellow sheen to the leather and a protective coat.

5: I stitch up the case with waxed thread, buff it, and lightly stain the edges.

the case is prepared for shipping.
