Here is a collection of sea glass shards found on a recent holiday to the North East Coast of England. We wandered many a beach in this area, which is famous for its ‘end of day’ sea glass from the Victorian era (producing some of the finest sea glass in the world), and found a few treasures which I may list over the next couple of weeks.

Please view my Facebook page to see some of my other examples: https://www.facebook.com/ScottishBeachFinds

The collection consists of an array of rare colours, all beautifully frosted by the sea. They are in fantastic condition.

They are difficult to photograph so I have taken ones when they're wet, some on a light box. PLEASE NOTE: the last picture is not the purple shard in the collection (It is still available upon request though) - it is purely to illustrate the colour of the piece included in the collection as its colour did not come out so well. The darkest 'nugget' is the purple piece and is the same hue as the one in the fifth picture, just not the same shape.

The colours include a deep purple (also known as black glass), red, yellow, golden amber, green, blue and four layered 'multis'.

They would make truly stunning pieces of jewellery or great additions to a collection.

They come as found- I do not do anything to them other than give them a gentle rinse in mild soapy water.

Each piece is one of a kind.

These are the actual pieces you will receive, packaged carefully.

Please look at the 5 pence piece for sizing guidance. It measures the same as the US dime in diameter - 18mm/0.7inch.

Many thanks.
