I've set a pretty little labradorite in an 18kt gold bezel atop a sterling silver band. Totally fabricated, I've textured the metal and given the band a comfortable, slightly squared shape. The bezel has a chiseled texture around it's top as well.
This flashing blue stone is named after Labrador, Canada in which it was discovered in 1770. Eskimo legend has it that the Northern Lights were once trapped inside the rocks along the coast of that Canadian Province. It's easy to see why. The Northern Lights is what always comes to mind when I see this mineral!
Size 7, other sizes can be made upon request.
