infinity scarf wrap cowl snood knit in chartreuse lambswool alpaca

Description

One more of my 4-way loops, this time in chartreuse. This handknit wrap is an extremely versatile piece appropriate for any season. For spring and summer it can be worn as a wrap, in the fall as an infinity scarf, doubled as a cowl in winter, or over the head as a snood in any season! It is a seamless loop, made of a fine gauge yarn that is half merino lambswool and half baby alpaca. Super-soft and lightweight, it makes a great travel piece, too.

TESTIMONIAL from one happy customer:
"I really can't express how much I love it!" . . . "They really are so incredibly lovely. The weather in Wisconsin is so extreme, depending on the season, and the heating/cooling in buildings is so inconsistent, so layering is key. It is great to have something like these loops that I can wear a variety of ways and be comfortable in any temperature."

MATERIALS
I love working with this yarn, not only because of its luxurious feel, but also because the colors are so interesting, coming from natural dyes ever-so-slightly heathered with the natural charcoal/grey of the lambswool and alpaca. This one is a beautiful, complex chartreuse. I do my best to portray the color as true as possible in the photos, but please be aware that different computer monitors can be calibrated differently and the color may appear slightly different on your monitor.

MEASUREMENTS
This wrap is knit on the bias in one continuous loop. Measurements are approximately 18 in/46cm wide by 40 in/102 cm circumference. Being knit on the bias gives it some amount of stretch. Wide enough to wrap around one's arms, it will sit a bit wide on the shoulders, but gathers up to drape beautifully in front or back.

CARE
Wash gently by hand with mild soap in cold water and lay flat to dry. Comes with tags and care instructions.

Really lovely. Just the right light texture & relaxed look for a hand-knitted top. Wished had discovered this gem of a store sooner.
