This vintage workshop lamp is the epitome of industrial. It works great, too (although it could use a new bulb or 2).

It is painted a dull, metallic bronze-ish color (see 2nd pic for truest depiction of color) and id very heavy. This lamp has no base and is meant to be mounted to the side of the desk...or to the shelf or beam overhead...or to the top of your headboard....using the included, matching c-clamp - just tighten the screw on the side to attach the arm to the clamp base.

It was made by Luxo and takes 2 flourescent bulbs. When we turn it on, we have to press the switch a few times. We believe this is because the bulbs are as old as the lamp and need to be warmed up...but to be honest it is possible it is a malfunction. It always turns on after a few presses, though and is incredibly bright.

Lamp measures approx. 34 inches long without the head/shade and has springs to make it easy to manuever. The head measures 19 inches wide. The paint is in overall nice shape, but it does have a few blemishes and small paint splatters from years of use. ...it still looks great on display.
