...Because everyone needs a hands-free flashlight sometimes!

I come from a family of make-do-ers, who were rather handy at figuring out how to adapt things to a specific use based on what was at hand. Some might call it cheapness; I prefer to call it ingenuity! This very long copper flashlight has been rather nicely attached to an old belt with black electrical tape, making it easy to sling over your shoulder - look ma, no hands! Perhaps it was used by a night watchman as he was checking the locks on his rounds, or by a mechanic who wanted to keep working out back on the old Chevy even after the sun went down. Whoever created this nifty tool was pretty darn clever in my book!

The flashlight measures 17” long by 4” in diameter, and the leather belt is 35” long. Tested with six large "D" size batteries, and it still works! Wonderfully worn vintage condition.
