This six glass set is from the 1988 Summer Olympics, held in Seoul, Korea. Each 7 oz. glass depicts Hodori the Olympic mascot in four kinds of Olympic sports. Hodori is a pretty cute tiger and reminds me of the cartoon "Heathcliff".

It's not often you find all six glasses together and very rarely do you see the complete set including the box.

Size: 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" - 7 ounces

The 1988 Olympics in Korea were (as Barney would say) legendary! Here are a couple of the history-making events.

► USA sprinter Florence Griffith Joyner ran a world record time in the 200-meter dash for the gold medal. She retired right after the Olympics and her record time is still unbeaten today.

► North Korea demanded that 11 Olympic events take place in North Korea. When told no, they convince a handful of small countries to boycott and refused to attend.

► Table Tennis joined the Olympics.

► The torch lighting ceremony "slightly" overlapped the live dove release ceremony. The unplanned barbecue ends the tradition of live doves being released.

► Boxing judges suspended after allegations of Korean officials fixing a match against the USA.
