Oh only if wood could talk, what stories it could tell. This frame features a unique grooved edge detail on all four sides. The frame is very unique just like the wood that it is made from. If this wood could talk it would tell how it keeps the snow and rain off the cow as it gave birth to it's calf. It would talk about all the different cowboys that tied their horses up in the stable. This wood could tell about the year that it took part in a reenactment of Christ's birth as it played the part of the stable where Christ was born. The family will always remember how special Christmas was that year. Only if this wood could talk.

It has two coats of clear finish
The overall size is 9"X 7"
It holds a standard 5x7 picture
The width of the frame is 1 1/4"
It comes out from the wall 3/4

The photogragh shown is not included and is copyrighted.
It also comes with a smile on your face as you place your special picture in the frame.

I have had the privilege to have grown up in a small country town that had some history to it. This part of the world has seen people like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the Robber's Roost gang, indians and pioneers that lived in dug-outs (which this wood very well has seen). I have noticed the old barns, log cabins, sheds, dug outs, granaries and other buildings falling down from old age and just seem to disappear. As an older woodworker I was looking at the wood from one of these places and noticed the color and the texture that only could have been achieved from many years of being out in the elements, I thought that man could not duplicate this in a matter of minutes in a factory. It’s like a person that started piano lessons at the age of 10 and for many years practiced every day until at an older age becomes a concert pianist. The pianist cannot give another person all the time spent on practicing. They would have to go through all the practicing too. I hope you have captured the beauty in the wood as I have.

Thanks for your purchase and for just looking
