This beautiful blue hen sitting on her nest warming her 5 eggs. She has wonderful sculptured feathers and detaiing to her face, beak, and tail. Her basket is in a woven pattern. The color is a light blue. This hen was made from a mold from the Heisey Glass Company. The Heisey Glass marking is on the bottom of the piece. Please see photo. She, her eggs and basket are all in excellent vintage condition. The coloring is not consistent in the basket which goes from darker blue to lighter in some spots. Please review photos.

After consulting with glass pottery experts it appears this is a Heisey Glass item.
