This is a really neat Renwal Visible Woman & Man set from the 1950's. The 2 figures are assembled and secured with clear tape, though they can be easily disassembled. Each figure is on a plastic stand, one which has a person's name painted on it. (science project?)
The man stands about 16" tall with the stand and the woman is about 15" tall with the stand.
The most interesting parts that come with this set is the optional "Miracle of birth" (a pregnant "belly", placenta and baby) that can be attached to the woman.
An extra set of lungs, what looks to be a liver and intestines also come with it.
All parts of this set are in good condition.
The box does not match, though it is a nice vintage "Visible Head" box that has some wear. The set comes with a set of 4 manuals about the visible woman and man.
Please let me know if you have any more questions or need more detailed pictures.
Definitely a great conversation piece!
