To the best of my knowledge this small bag is 1930s in vintage. It is not labeled, but I believe it was commercially made, and similar bags were made in Czechoslovakia. The exterior of the bag is covered in round and oval wooden beads, in colors that make me think of the Southwest: Off-white, green, orange-tan and pink-tan. The bag has a cream acetate lining and there is a flat pocket inside. The metal zipper has a ball chain pull, and the large ball in the middle of the chain is stamped Talon (the zipper maker). The bag has a flat strap on one side, into which you can slide your hand.

Condition: Good. The strap is not attached super securely, with a cotton string holding it on the bottom. You could add another loop of string. The zipper pull ball has very little green finish, but enough to say it probably once was green. Otherwise the exterior of the bag is great. The lining is definitely soiled at the top, along the zipper.

Size: 10" x 5.5". The sides are about 1" wide.
