SUBJECT: This 1912 real picture postcard (RPPC), was sent to Miss Clara Hubbard, of Belvidere, Illinois, by one Effie Johnson. "Do you know this person? Excuse the scenery," she wrote. It's anyone's guess whether she meant Mr. Sunday Best sitting high up there on his range horse or the rather arid flat lands surrounding them.

HORSE NOTES: I like this big, companionable horse, tail blowing in the prairie breeze as he looks with curiosity at the photographer. He's not nearly as stiff or formal as his long-legged rider.

DETAILS: This original vintage BW real picture postcard (RPPC) measures 3.5 x 5.5 inches and is in excellent condition, free of flaws, stains or blemishes.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: Paper items are wrapped with care in acid-free sleeves, placed between two pieces of cardboard and shipped in secure packaging within two business days of purchase.

VINTAGE: All vintage and antique items have unique histories and are offered for sale in exactly the condition they were found. They are sold “AS IS.”
