Rustic log Wall shelf, made from a half log of spalted western hemlock. Top has been sealed with a wood sealer. Would make a great addition to a rustic space or log cabin. Hangs easily with 2 screws, nails, or drywall anchors.

This wood is Western Hemlock, about 60 years old, located in the Mt Hood National Forest on "Hunchback mountain". The tree had fallen from a storm, It appears to have blown right over, bending the wood and splitting it in multiple places up the tree. I cut it into pieces last year and have been storing it until just recently sanding them down and turning them into tables. It is a lovely wood species and it now it can be put to use, all the while providing the means for a healthier forest, less susceptible to fire and less prone to wood destroying insects. :-)

Measurements are 21.5 inches long, 7-8 inches wide, and 10 inches tall.
