I'm calling this a plain jane mug even though there is a design wrapping around the mug. You would never guess what it is, so I'll tell you. It's a pair of my pants on the floor. One night I was crawling into bed after a long, long day and had to chuckle at the way my pants landed on the floor. They looked like they were ready to rumble as soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning. I tried to capture all the details of the many pockets, seams and creases but it came out pretty abstract! So plain jane it is... (nothing wrong with that! I find plain janers refreshing, not everyone likes decorated pottery :))

This is the "cup holder" style of travel mug I make, designed to (hopefully) fit in your car's cup holder. Nowadays there are so many makes and models of cars I really can't promise this mug will fit yours... I drive a 2003 Subaru Forrester (pictured) and they fit perfectly. The idea is that the longer foot should nestle into the cup holder, making it safe (er) from tipping should you hit the breaks or curves with perhaps a little too much gusto. Though not as stable as the squat dashboard style, they do stand quite nicely on their own... so if it doesn't fit in your car's cup holder you still have one dandy mug.

It is 6½" tall, 3¼" across the widest part of the belly and narrows down to 2.5' across the top to fit the cork. When I measure my mugs to see how much liquid they hold I fill it to the brim, just as a way of standardizing... I know nobody fills their cup to the tippety top! This one holds 20 ozs of your favorite beverage.
