"Om shanti shanti shanti" is a Sanskrit mantra that is used after mantras, prayers, meditation
or yoga. The word Om does not really have a meaning. It’s considered that Om is the the original sound, the sound of the Universe of which all sounds come from. It can be seen as an equivalent to the white light, in which it can be found all the colors of the rainbow.
Shanti means calm, tranquillity, peace, permanent satisfaction, fulfilment, contentment or
stillness. Shanti is repeated three times to bring peace in to the body, speech and mind.

I used earthy picture jasper, soft blue amazonite, caramel colored indonesian glass beads, howlite heishi and copper heishi.
I hand cut the copper ring and disk from salvaged copper sheet, stamped the om symbol and the words Om Shanti to them and then heat oxidised them to a medium brown patina.
The necklace is 19" long. The copper hook claps is hand forged and has a beautiful antiqued patina.

Picture jasper alleviates fear and brings harmony, balance and positive energy. It stimulates creative visualization. It is the stone of Global Awareness.
Amazonite is a calming and soothing stone, it assist in manifesting universal love and helps intuition.
