Great photo postcard of Josephine Baker, African American cabaret dancer, singer and actress.
In this picture she wears a pretty white dress, a curious hairstyle and an original and daring pose.

Josephine Baker (St. Louis, Missouri, 1906, – Paris, 1975) was the first African American female to become a world-famous entertainer and political icon. She is also noted for her contributions to the Civil Rights Movement in the United States and for assisting the French Resistance during World War II.
