Hat pins may date back to the 1890's, but this handmade peice is timeless.

The hat pin cushion base was made using cardboard and cotton stuffing. While out 'junking', I found satin remnants from a bridal shop that came in handy. What a gorgeous exterior for the hat! Using an upcycled wedding dress, I found embellished peices to attch to the hat. I also used ribbon from my own stash. I made three hat pins using a variety of beads.

Hat measures approx 6 inches in diameter. 2 1/2 inches tall (not including the pins). Pins are 5 inches long.

This pin cushion would make beautful wedding decor. Can also hold straight pins, hat pins, broches, and beading needles. Would also make beautiful home decor.

This is a hat you will want to hold on to!
