1970s Rare Makaha Roller Skates Mens Size 11 in Cobalt and Cream

Style Benefits & Suggestions:

Super rare. These are pretty rad-looking skates. I love the blue and white design, they feel cushy inside and seem to be well-made. Rock and roll!

Materials: plastic, nylon, metal.

Condition: Good. They are definitely not minty. The lacing holes in the shoe part are rusty, and there are lots of scuffs and wear on the wheels. I don’t see any reason why these wouldn’t still work just fine, though. The fabric parts of the skate are much cleaner since I used an old toothbrush and some dish soap to clean them up. :o)

Brand: Makaha – which just so happens to be the company that basically designed the first skateboard that we base our current models on. Sweet! Check out this link if you want more info:

Size: listed as 11. They look pretty big, I think these are true to size. See measurements to ensure a good fit.

About 12” from heel to toe in length (give or take a quarter inch or so, it’s hard to measure inside while keeping the measuring tape in place.)

4.75” across instep at widest point.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions. :o)
