This is a hard to find tool to use on corn on the cob at the dining table made by H & B Co. and is in I believe silver plate. The tool was used to split the kernels of corn to make it easier to eat in those days it also took out some of the silk left in by mistake. This tool measures approx 5 1/4 inch long and 1 1/2 inch wide at the widest part. The teeth are very sharp and does show some wear because it is OLD. It could also be used to split the kernels for canning or chicken corn soup. This was a family tool and would make a great conversation piece as well as adding to your collection..Yum I can taste the chicken corn soup now execpt it is too hot. But corn season is here.
Shipping will be 2.35 in a padded envelope.I LOVE TO COMBINE and will mail out of the USA. I do refund for excess shipping costs over 1.00. Thank you
