This classic stoneware teapot is designed to be subtle yet elegant. The tea pours beautifully through a series of small holes which will allow you to steep leaves or bags. The perfect fitting lid allows for the pot to be tilted to almost 90 degrees without the lid falling off. Glazed with a lavender blue wood ash glaze and a light orange shino on the inside and bottom. Measures 5.5" tall at the knob (14 cm) and 7.5" wide from the tip of the spout to the handle (19 cm). The opening is 2.5" (6.4 cm) wide. Holds 32 oz. The handle is sturdy and will accommodate a 3 finger grip. Fired to cone 10 (2350 F) in a gas kiln.
Food, microwave and dishwasher SAFE.

Each item is individually made by me on the potter's wheel using my custom stoneware clay and glazes that I formulate. I take great care and pride in my work to make sure I offer the best product I can. I hope you enjoy using them as much as I like making them.
