This is a pair of Occupied Japan lamps fashioned in the style of an American Colonial couple.

The male figure measures 11" high alone and 15" high with the light socket. The female figure measures 10" high alone and 13 1/2" high with the light socket. Each of their bases measures 3 3/4" x 3 1/2". They are properly wired and ready to plug in.

There are a few tiny scratches to the paint and only one lamp still has the soft green felt underneath the base. The bases are gold and are designed to look like the popular moldings of the day.

These are very nice set of Occupied Japan lamps with great attention to details of the clothing both in style and color. They are both wearing dark red cloaks over white clothing that have either stripe or floral details. The expressions on their faces are clear and well done as they look up with the dignity they believe their station offers them.
