Six or seven years ago, I discovered a polymer clay artist named Montse, from Barcelona. Montse made the most intricate, the most breathtaking polymer clay beads that I had ever seen. You can clearly see the influence on her beads of the great Barcelona architect Gaudi. She was selling her beads on justbeads.com, and I suggested to her that she would get a wider audience if she also listed on eBay. Big mistake. She DID get a wider audience, and it turned out that I wasn't the only designer blown away by Montse's beads. I found myself in frantic bidding wars to buy her beads. I had never seen anything like it. In 2008 Montse decided to stop making polymer clay beads, leaving us all in a state of withdrawal. I managed to purchase the remainder of her collection. I am now offering selected items from my collection on Etsy. There is no mark-up on the prices; I am selling them for the prices that I bought them for, because I want other designers to share the delight of owning beads by Montse. If you purchase enough to get the 25% discount, you will be getting them for 25% less than I paid for them! Unless I indicate otherwise, all of Montse's beads are covered with a beautiful clear glaze.

This fabulous bead set was made by Montse. The beads include a 22 mm flat round and two 40 x 30 mm fleur-de-lis. The two colors are metallic aqua and gold.

I am new to Etsy, but I have sold my handmade jewelry, vintage beads, and vintage jewelry on eBay for over ten years. On eBay I have over 6000 feedbacks, 100% of which are positive. I have spent years searching out the rarest, most beautiful, and most unusual beads and stones that I could find. My prime focus has been on vintage Swarovski crystals because they are the finest crystals ever made, with extraordinary sparkle, clean facets, and remarkable colors and finishes. I have tracked down caches of unusual cuts and colors of Swarovski crystal from all over the world, even as far away as Shanghai, China. I buy them only in their original packaging as “new old stock” and never sell beads previously used in jewelry. I also have unique collections of vintage glass and Lucite beads and stones of exceptional quality, as well as vintage findings. For years, I have been using these premium beads, stones, and findings to create my own jewelry, and have become known for my distinctive and one-of-a-kind necklaces. I have now decided to share some of these remarkable items used in my creations with others who are passionate about beads. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.
