This dark gray, super soft alpaca yarn has little white flecks in it. I can't wait to knit some up.

Stonehedge fiber mill in northern Michigan cleaned and spun it for me and believe me, it is an awesome yarn. It is made of 4 pounds of gorgeous white Cormo sheep yarn from Mary Parks' farm in Pleasantville, Iowa, (Still Water Fiber Farm - https://www.facebook.com/StillwaterFiberFarm) To Mary's Cormo, I added 5 1/2 pounds of my black alpaca, and 4 pounds of my gray alpaca. That's about 10 pounds of fleece for my lovely 66 skeins.

Because the Cormo loses a lot of weight after the lanolin is washed out, the percentage of alpaca to sheep is about:: 20% Cormo and 80% Alpaca

I'll post a picture just as soon as I knit something up. I'll probably use a US# 6 or 7 needle for my project.
