These two basic versions of the Blood Red/Dying gown came with a scant two weeks before the first one was needed! However, both were mailed the same day, so I had one week to do both of these gowns. Hectic!

Both gowns were constructed as two pieces using crushed velvet, a short undergown with the full overgrown. Both clients requested a slightly higher neckline that the original. The black one has a train that hooks up to a French bustle. The navy gown pieces are sewn together as the last step, and the black one has heavy snaps on the shoulders, keeping the straps in place. The gold lace was a taupe colored Venice lace that I painted gold with a paint that had 14kt gold in it. It's heavy and somewhat stiff to keep shape and not fall off the shoulders. Red and green heat-set crystals finish the gowns.

This listing is for a costume version made the same way. As with all my gowns though, this gown is made to last.

You choose color, trained or not, and whether you'd like the higher neckline or the lower one from the film. If trained, let me know if you'd like it made so it can bustle. Convo me if you're interested in a film-accurate version. Non-crushed velvet will have an additional cost of $75 due to the additional cost of non-crushed velvet. There is no additional labor cost, though the non-crushed velvet does take more time to work with and different seam and hem treatments.

I am never in a position where I have no commissions scheduled. So please contact me PRIOR to purchase for a date, which will go into the above-mentioned contract.

PAYMENT INFORMATION: I accept Square for payments. An invoice will be sent to you from from Square Invoicing with payment instructions, AFTER all sizing information is received and details are agreed upon. While payment isn't made the very second you order, it is much more secure than Paypal. By paying with a credit or debit card, you are protected and still have the right to file disputes, only with your card-issuer directly. Paypal also requires that good be delivered within 21 days, which is simply not alway possible when something is custom-made and will take longer than 21 days to produce and ship.

When purchasing, please check the "other" checkbox and an invoice will be sent directly to you. Thank you!

Plus, as a bonus, I'll include a licensed Lord of the Rings bookmark featuring Arwen. Since Warner Bros. Legal has decided seamstresses don't have fair use rights to describe our gowns as being inspired by Lord of the Rings, LotR, or by their characters, such as Arwen, Eowyn, etc., and won't even acknowledge the existence of fair use of names, I'll include a paper bookmark. It's entirely legal to use movie and character names to describe licensed products.
