Made from recycled, new and vintage fabrics ~
named - abi23 -

The original abi23 quilt was made with fabrics I started buying for my 23 year old (now 27 year old) daughter, Abigail, when she was a baby. Thus, the name abi23. I have made about 8 of these quilts in the last several years that are being enjoyed by babies all over the world.

I've added "abi prints", vintage fabrics, retro prints, new bright prints giving this quilt a gender neutral appeal. Each quilt is different incorporating new and fabrics from my stash. The batting is 80/20 cotton poly, machine quilted with a free motion design. This unwashed quilt is double sided with 4.5" squares on the top and spliced 4 different prints on the back making it reversible. Colors used: orange, lime green, green, turquoise, purple, blue, red and yellow. The quilt is bound with pieced coordinated fabrics that make the spliced back really pop while coordinating with the multicolor/multiprint front.

This quilt will grow with you child as it is also great to take to daycare, pre-school or kindergarten for nap times because it easily washes/dries allowing your little one to have the comforts of home no matter where they go.

Measurements - -
31.5" x 40.5" cut
31" x 40" quilted
29" x 38.5" washed/dried - finished measurements

Washed, on gentle cycle, and dried to give the quilt that warm and cozy puckered quilt look. Ready to be gifted at a baby shower or to be loved by your own little one.

MEMORY QUILT option - - Several of the past quilts have incorporated fabrics/clothing from the buyers own family, helping you to share memories with new generations. If you are interested please convo me to work on your custom size/color memory.

I do NOT accept returns of any custom order. Once your custom quilt is made it is yours, I am not able to resell it.

If any custom order is cancelled before your custom quilt is started there will be a $25 cancellation fee deducted from your deposit. If you have already shipped your t-shirts/clothing to me and then you have changed your mind I will return your t-shirts/clothing to you and cancel your order. You are responsible for the $25 cancellation fee and the return postage cost (USPS, insured and signature required for delivery). No, all custom quilt orders are made by me. I cut, arrange and quilt your memory quilt in my home studio on my Gammill long arm quilter.
I use cotton or poly/cotton quilt weight fabric for the sashing/framing, border, back and binding. The color range is decided by you the customer thru convos.
Turn around time depends on the number of quilt orders I have on the calendar. You are kept informed as to when I can get your quilt started.

Once I start your quilt I can usually create your custom quilt within 3-4 weeks, from start to finish. It does take me a bit longer to create your memories because I have a "day job" that gets in the way of my sewing.
I ship USPS priority 1-3 day, insured with signature required for delivery. The cost to ship depends on the weight of the quilt. Past shipping has been $25 - $38 to US addresses.
