***RESERVED through 25th October.***

I just love buckle rings! These rings became popular in the Victorian era and were often exchanged between lovers as a symbol of strength and loyalty. Crafted in 9 karat yellow gold this ring has a very pretty looping floral design. Circa 1860s to 1890s, European in origin.

Hallmarks: are worn. I can make out a couple of maker's marks and the 375 for 9 karat gold. I believe it has the leopard's head for London. Tests positive for 9 karat gold.

Size: UK - F.5; US 3.25; EU - 14. Sizable within a couple of full US sizes.
7.55 mm at the widest point, tapers to 3 mm at the back of the band.
