Diana called me all excited that she had seen a woman wearing something exactly like my wraps, but with sleeves. We met for a beer at her husband Karlis next gig, and she drew what she had seen. I spent the next month trying to figure out how in the world do you knit something like that? I made paper models, clipped and taped until I got it.

I knit a sample and gave it to Zanda, who is also a designer and half my height, for her birthday. She loved it, but said it would be nicer if the neckline was more cut out, sexier. I totally agreed, and this is the result of having great friends with good ideas!

These are long sleeves, the kind you can bunch up or pull down over your hands when you go frolicking with the elves through the Lothlorien forest.

Knit with 2 strands of super soft kid mohair and 2 strands of silk thread. Lightweight and warm. Thats me in the photos, I'm a size M, but super tall, so the sleeves will scrunch up nicely at the cuff on you.

Length at center back: 13" (33cm) cropped to end a few inches above the waistline
Center back to end of sleeve cuff: 33-34" (84-86cm)

Strawflower Bolero Shrug, infinity with sleeves
