What a neat find. This 1950's clock features a swinging bird and is officially titled as such. It's a Master Crafters clock model 335 with a movement by Sessions and Made in the USA. The piece measures 10 1/2" tall X 7 1/2" wide X 2" deep.

The clock is missing a front piece that would look like the front of a bird cage. The inside with the bird shows an immense amount of wear, so please study the photographs for the exact condition. I didn't plug in the clock to see if it works. (The last time I tried that with another old clock, I fried an outlet and flipped a breaker, so now I'm sending these vintage items off as-is.) I'd suggest taking this to your nearest clock dealer for cleaning and restoration if you'd like to get it back in trustworthy working order. I cannot guarantee how much work this clock will need, if any.

There's a place inside to put a 7 watt 110V candelabra bulb. When plugged in, the light comes on and the bird is supposed to swing back and forth. What a sweet idea! This looks good just as-is for display. If you enjoy canaries and yellow finches, this clock will be a true find.

Enjoy!
