Oh these blue-green bicentennial Ball jars with glass lids are just gorgeous! This listing is for nine jars. Each jar is 5 inches tall with the cover off. Each jar has a wire holder attached which is ideal if you are making these into lights. You can hang the light by the wire holder. Each jar also has an embossed American Eagle on it. These jars have never been used and I will include the original paperwork that came with the jars and also the rubber gaskets.

Just a little bit of history.....The most common color of glass due to the iron in the sand used to make the glass, is green. The discovery that less oxygen in the fire caused glass to turn blue-green or blue became one of the most jealously guarded color-control "secrets" of the early glass makers. The Ball blue is much sought after by collectors.

I will ship outside the United States. Contact me for shipping price.

If you have any questions about these fabulous jars please contact me.

Thank you for visiting. Have a wonderful day!
