This is a listing for a pattern for a bead knitted scarf. It was designed so that a person who is a knitter, but has never knitted beads has a project on which they can learn. (If you would prefer to browse only knitting patterns, please click on “knitting patterns” located under Shop Sections on the left side of any page.)

More than one method of knitting with beads is contained within the instructions. There is also a description of how to do "bead knitting." Each has its own advantages and disadvantages so instructions for each are included, allowing you to make up your mind which you prefer.

Skill level: Beginner, assuming that you are already a knitter.

This scarf is made using light weight sock yarn, size #6 or #8 beads, a Big Eye Needle and a set of knitting needles in either size 3, 4 or 5. The one pictured here was made using a size #5 needle.

This is a listing for a pattern and not the finished item. A pdf will be sent to the email address associated with your Pay Pal account within 24 hours of when payment is received, or sooner, if I'm at my computer.

This pattern has been tested by Tina Bird, (http://www.life-truth-beauty.com)
