Hold for Felicity! Here is a charm bracelet with charms from the 1950's mostly...possibly a few out of the 60's. Most of these are marked "sterling" but there are a few which are not. There are 32 total charms on the bracelet. The bracelet itself is not marked silver. I am listing the charms as follows- charms marked silver or sterling include: totem pole, enameled State of Alabama charm, enameled New Orleans charm, Mermaid charm, Tennessee State charm, arrowhead charm, Cowboy on Horse charm with turquoise, Indian maiden charm with papoose on back, Louisiana State charm, Cowboy hat charm, Horse and Horseshoe charm, No parking sign charm, Pirates pistol charm, Cowboy booth charm, Indian moccasin charm, Bear charm, Indian in canoe charm, Rocking chair charm, Airplane charm, Train with moving wheels charm, Golden Gate Bridge charm, State of North Carolina charm, Horse charm, Rock City Lover's leap charm. Several of the charms have tiny sterling "tags" with them which say "Cherokee" so I am assuming they were bought back in the 50's or early 60's in Cherokee North Carolina. One of the charms has a name, and a 1960's date on the back of it. The bracelet weighs 80 grams total...I don't know exactly how much is sterling-vs-non sterling, but I am sure there is much more silver here than non silver. You don't often see, or get a chance to get hold of an "instant" collection like this anymore...especially a vintage piece like this. The bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches long laid out flat. It's a great old collection!
