Oh my goodness! What a lovely find! I am a huge fan of Bonnie Cashin but when I saw this patchwork leather and suede car coat I was over the moon! Creamy white leather and soft buff colored suede are patched together in a bold checkerboard pattern. Super easy, slightly swing shape will allow you to layer it over a heavier sweater come fall. Nice deep hand warmer pockets...plenty deep for your smart phone in one and your car keys in the other. Classic Bonnie Cashin brass twist toggles. Cream tafetta lining. Perfect weight for fall into spring....
Label: Bonnie Cashin for Gropper
Condition: Excellent. One blemish in the suede on the back right shoulder....this looks to be an inconsistency within the skin. The toggle closures are super shiny and unscratched. Lining is in very nice condition...no staining or tears.
All measurements are taken with the garment laying flat, doubled for the bust, waist and hips. Please make sure you leave yourself a little wiggle room for a comfortable fit!
Shoulder to Shoulder: 19"
Length shoulder to hem: 29"

Vintage garments have been worn and loved…most often discovered carefully stored away in an out of the way closet for many years. It is not uncommon for garments to show some signs of wear. I carefully inspect each garment to make sure that you get the most accurate and informed description possible. When needed garments are cleaned and mended. Sometimes upon close inspection previous alterations are visible. I try to restore the garment to its original form when possible. Repairs are listed in the garment description. All items are sold as is – so please ask any necessary questions prior to purchasing. If a flaw accidently escapes my inspection, please let me know as soon as possible (and before leaving feedback!) and I will be happy to help remedy the situation. My wish is that you love your vintage garment as much as its original owner!
