This is a lot of seventeen antique tweed De Luxe Edition hardcover books by Charles Dickens with black and white illustrations by various artists and published by J. A. Hill & Company, New York. This is NOT a complete set - see below for the included books. They are undated, but based on my research it looks like they are most likely from the early 1900s. Each book measures 8.25" tall by 5.625" wide and they vary in number of pages. These would be a beautiful, rare collection to display on a shelf, to give as a gift to a Dickens collector or to begin your own collection!

Condition: The books are in nice condition for their age and the insides look to have never been read. Some have a small "ding" or scratch here or there on the outside covers as well as some wear. All have discoloring/staining on the spines (spines appear brown while the covers are an olive green). There is no writing in any of them. Some have page waving from production (not from water damage). I'm assuming this is from rarely being opened in their history. Binding is tight for all of them. Any additional issues with the books will be listed with its respective title below.
