I found a stack of 4 quilt squares at a local Northern Virginia estate sale recently. Right up front I'll tell you, I know little to nothing about quilts, but these were so well done and pretty -- so of course, I bought them! A lovely Etsy friend, Rose, who is a quilter, told me this pattern is called Dresden Plate. Thank you! On some of the squares, printed on the backing fabric says, "Genuine Peter Pan." All of them are 17" square, with the pattern itself being 14" in diameter. The centers are plain backing fabric. They are hand stitched. I believe the patterned fabric is feedsack, because I remember my great-grandmother had aprons made out of fabric like this! The stitching is all still tight -- I hope you can see that in the second photos of their backs. There are no holes. For the most part, there are no stains -- and if there ARE age spots, I'll mention them individually. You may be able to spot them in the photos. I have NOT attempted to soak these, because I thought it best to leave it to a quilt expert. So, here we go... This is the LAST one... #4 of 4. As you can see in the photos, there really aren't any age spots on this one, and I think it's the most colorful & CUTE! There is a purple & green striped petal again, but also a nice geometric with triangles, and the yellow, red & purple cherries petal is a gem! Shipping will be $1.00 for one square, or $1.00 for many squares... I like to combine shipping.
