The teak slab was good quality and with sanding and teak oil will be beautiful. The slab was shipped wrapped in bubble wrap but there was no protection for the corners and they were damaged. Simple cardboard over the corners would fix this.

I cannot fault this hoop, exactly as described, good, sturdy quality and easy to assemble. However, both myself and my daughter have yet to master the technique fully and the waves on the structure of the hoop can make you a little sore to begin with. Perhaps not for beginners as others have suggested? We may invest in a weighted, smooth hoop as well and come back to this one once we have mastered the art.
