These 3 little Zanesville Stoneage Modern planters were made by Zanesville Stoneage Company in the 60's when the Ohio based company produced the line. All 3 have attractive glazes which have been described as "white foamy, sandstone, and golden yellow" (I believe).

The Stoneage Modern line was designed to be rough in form with imperfections and 2 of these 3 are certainly no exception. The tall planter has a small glaze-skip (pict2). The sandstone planter has a smashed/ dried-out and cracked-up base (inside...pict 4, and out...pict3) that happened in production. (Actually, probably a positive thing if you are planning to use these planters as they were intended, as it leaks water ;) The white planter is in fine condition with nothing to report.
