The Wholecloth Logan Bag PDF sewing pattern comes with 2 sizes of print at home PDF sewing pattern, and clear illustrated instructions for creating the simple drawstring bucket backpack. This pattern is written for heavy weight fabrics. We recommend 10 oz. canvas or similar. Lighter fabric can be used with the addition of medium weight interfacing. The Standard size is designed to hold everything you need for a day out and about. The Mini will hold all the essentials like your wallet, phone and keys. Both have an exterior snap pocket and an interior zip pocket. The bag is fully lined.
As an added bonus we've included pdf instructions for sewing a quilted Logan Bag with a pieced front featuring our variation of a flying geese quilt block. This pattern hack works great with lighter weight fabrics such as linen or quilting cotton.
The pattern includes:
- clear step by step illustrated instructions
- PDF pattern to print and assemble at home using your home printer and 8 1/2" x 11" paper
- pattern dimensions to draft your own pattern pieces rather than print and assemble the PDF
- pattern and instruction to sew 2 different sizes of Wholecloth Logan Bag.
- bonus instructions (in a second pdf file) for making a quilted Logan Bag with a pieced front pocket.
Finished Bag Dimensions:
Standard: 10"x20"
Mini: 6"x12"
