The organic shape and natural coloring of this yarn bowl will compliment almost any decor.

Thrown on the wheel I then altered its shape by pulling and twisting in targeted areas until its true character emerged. It has a slot and six holes to thread your yarn through.

The botanical images are from Britton, N.L., and A. Brown - An illustrated flora of the northern United States, Canada and the British Possessions published in 1913. They were permanently applied with a third firing to a winter white glaze. The glazes are of course lead free and food safe.

It measures about 6-1/4" across at its widest point, and 3-3/4" tall.

I signed the bottom with my studio name "Just Mare."
