5 out of 5 starsDrive-In Asylum is one of the only reasons that I even go on Etsy. It's always exciting to find out when Bill has put out a new issue and I will order it without hesitation. I love that he did a Christmas horror themed special issue. It is one of my favorites in my zine collection. Even though Drive-In Asylum may be of smaller stature, it puts many of the larger sized glossy print horror mags to shame. So do yourself a favor and give Bill some business if you are at all into horror movies--especially ones from the 70's and 80's (though older films and more recent filmmakers are covered too). The old newspaper movie adverts included in practically every issue are enough reason to pick up a copy. There are also in depth interviews and of course film reviews to enjoy as well. Highly recommended!!

I love reading DIA. I was super thrilled when I saw it featured Carnival of Souls, which still scares me.

Another must buy issue ! Great writing and some nice scores for interviews. As always, beautiful presentation, each issue of Drive -In Asylum is a work of art.

Groovy Doom's Drive-In Asylum magazine is hands down the best underground magazine in the Horror/Exploitation world! The look, feel, and ads take you back to better times, but the fresh and new interviews and articles revive a curiosity to revisit these old films and see them in an all new light. Keep being awesome Groovy Doom! DIA forever!
