Wooden Cedar Planter Box - Handpainted Folk Art Tribal Spiders or Scorpions

We took one of our cedar basket totes and hand painted it in a naif folk art tribal style. The design was taken from an old Peruvian engraving of scorpions. Made to look like it's already old and used, with lots of sanding, a coat of our black walnut ink over the paint, and a coat of satin varnish to keep it looking good. The little imperfections in the wood are part of the look. Totally charming with a nice dash of shabby chic.

Note - the bottom of this is slats. It will not hold dirt but will happily hold potted plants!

The inside is **very** rough hewn wood. It's just the nature of the soft cedar that we repurposed from an old fence.

Measurements:
10 inches wide
10 inches deep (it's square)
