This chubby fellow works up quickly with two strands of your favorite worsted weight yarn held together and a size I crochet hook. You will also need a size H for single strand accents. To finish your owl you will need to know how to crochet in the round and basic crochet stitches such as single crochet, half double crochet and treble crochet. Skill level for the pattern = advanced beginner/intermediate. Your owl will need one pair of 15 mm blue (or any color you prefer) safety eyes (if you are unable to find them in your local craft store, 6060.etsy.com has a large selection to chose from). You will also need fiberfill and a tapestry needle. The pattern includes detailed instructions in English, a materials list and notes and tips to help you create your owl. Finish owl is approximately 8 and 1/2 inches tall from the top of his head to his bottom
