Vintage Chinese Checkers Tin Game Board. This vintage board is made for Chinese Checkers on one side and traditional checkers on the other. It was produced by Pixie Games for Steven in the mid sixties. The illustrations on this piece are very detailed and quite cute! The round hollow tin board has convenient drawers for storing checkers and marbles. The original marbles and checkers have been lost but I am including the six color set of 60 marbles shown in the photos. The game board is in good vintage condition. It has some scratches and a couple of rusty spots but they only give it more character!

The game board measures 13" in diameter.

The object of Chinese Checkers is to be first to race one's pieces across the hexagram-shaped game board to home which is the corner of the star opposite one's starting corner. Any number of marbles can be used as long as each player starts with the same amount

Chinese Checkers is not a Chinese game. It was developed in American during the 1920s by the Pressman Company. It was based on a similar game invented in Germany around 1890.

Included in this listing:
*Two sided metal game board
* 60 glass marbles
