A striking red jasper mama is combined with the childbirth stones of unakite and moss agate for a lovely pocket set of birthing beads...

Rooted in ancient tradition, Birth Goddess Beads are a simple, timeless way to focus for meditation, hypnosis, prayer or affirmations for fertility, pregnancy, birth and beyond.

These pocket-sized beads are hand-crafted keepsake pieces, and with care are meant to last for a lifetime. If you're looking for a specific color or stone, or a larger necklace-style set, please convo me for more information on a custom set of beads.

The beads can used any way that works best for you… as prayer beads, as fiddle or worry beads, however you want to use them. Use them everyday, take them to your childbirth classes, recite your affirmations on them, use them during meditation, count your kegels on them, play with them, or simply tuck them into your pocket or purse and carry them with you wherever you go!

This set is made with large 10mm red flame jasper, unakite and moss agate beads… each one is individually hand-wrapped with sterling silver wire in a traditional rosary style. This set is accented with sterling silver daisy spacers and has 13 beads, one for each lunar month of the year. The set is approximately 11 inches in diameter and are meant to go around your wrist while you hold the goddess in your hand.

The mama goddess has large breasts complete with nipples, and full childbearing hips. This one has a three-dimensional back with a carved bum. She is just about two inches tall, just over an inch wide, and about 1/2 an inch thick (50mm x 28mm x 17mm).

Red jasper is one of my favorite stones for fertility, pregnancy, birth & nursing - I wore red jasper during the natural birth of my youngest son! The beautiful brick red stone often has black lines and bits of white quartz running through them. They are thought to encourage fertility and protect during pregnancy and birth. It's also believed to be a stone of stability, confidence and to increase energy.

Unakite has beautiful green and dark pink swirls - so earthy! It's considered to be the childbearing stone and as such is also a stone of new growth and beginnings. It's said to increase your self esteem, and pave the way for a joyous birth. Unakite's energy is also said to be grounding and bestow a sense of peace.

Moss agate completes the trio, it is said to promote fertility and assists us in growing everything green. It almost looks like tiny pieces of moss are trapped inside when held up to the light and is perfect for mamas who love to play in the dirt! Moss agate is also called the midwife's stone and is perfect for labor and birth.

Your Birth Goddess Beads come in their own unbleached, cotton bag with a pregnant goddess hand-stamped on it. These are the thicker muslin bags, with nice strong lace ties and make a great place to store your beads when you're not using or wearing them.

Each set of beads has a card with gemstone information, ideas for using your beads, and a set of suggested affirmations for pregnancy and birth.

Remember you are a birth goddess… Believe... Breathe... Birth!
