The meadow is still white with snow, but some blades of grass are poking out cheekily, and between the shimmering snowflakes there are lots of daisies, cheering for spring.

I spun this magnificent art yarn from my own hand carded fibre blend, containing shiny white alpaca, white lambs wool, white bluefaced leicester wool (BFL), a small amount of merino wool of bright green and sunshine yellow, some shiny, textured banana silk, and sparkling angelina (glittery fibre). I spun in a beautifully shimmering mother of pearl thread, strung with daisies and iridescent snowflake sequins. I also spun in pieces of commercial eyelash yarn to add some meadow quality. The complex fibre blend makes this yarn irresistible to touch!

This will make a gorgeous medium to large-ish project; depending on pattern and needle size this will go quite a long way. How about a long scarf or a shawlette? Matching hat and long arm warmers would also be wonderful, and I bet you will have many ideas of your own :-)
