ONE-OF-A-KIND! Cast and fabricated Sterling Silver ring with three 9mm x 7mm oval Alamandite garnet cabochons set atop three split-anvil headed, free-moving sculptural silver elements which pierce the solid silver band of the ring itself. It's got a good weight to it and I noticed that the sculptural pieces tend to stay synchronized with hand movements, which is a visually elegant effect.

With the scultpural elements echoing the divine anvils of the god Hephaestus, and the garnets, the divine fire in which heavenly and incomparable marvels were forged, this one-of-a-kind ring was created and imbued with the intent that--FOR THE SINGLE WEARER, it coalesce the inexplicable forces of attraction and benevolent emotions which inspire true & romantic love, intensely joyful passions, and intrigue to almost hypnotic effect, particularly in those best suited to the wearer's long-term happiness...while for the joyfully COMMITTED WEARER, that it energize and renew those same forces and emotions which can be so profoundly welcome for preserving the excitement, reinvigorating the commitment and protecting the longevity of loving, committed relationships.

HEPHAESTUS (also know as Vulcan by the Romans), was the Greek god of fire, especially the blacksmith's fire, and was the patron of all metalsmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors and artists—especially those working with metals. He was the god of volcanoes. He built his palace and his forges beneath a volcano on Lemnos. He was the blacksmith of the gods of Olympus, and crafted nearly every known magical, metal object of legend which they wore or used—including Zeus’ thunderbolts and scepter, Athena’s shield, Eros’ arrows, Helios’s chariot, Achilles’ invincible armor…and Hephaestus even helped to create the first woman, Pandora, with the assistance of other gods.

Aphrodite, was the wife of Hephaestus, and because of her legendary wandering eye and flirtatious heart, Hephaestus grew justifiably suspicious that Aphrodite had been having secret love affairs…he was proved correct after literally catching her in the act with Ares, the god of war, using a magical net of his own crafting. After hauling them before the pantheon of Greek gods for what he anticipated would be a stern judgment—Hephaestus’ righteous indignation and the sight of the naked lovers caught embracing in his net, had just the opposite effect, the gods roared with belly-shaking laughter, before releasing them from the nets in a gesture which forgave them their frailties of the heart.

GARNET--extracts negative energy from the body and promotes health. It is a powerful stone for putting "force" behind creativity that leads to action and results. Garnet aids in the process of self-discovery by integrating one's experiences and emotions with the intellect. When worn or carried, garnet can provide protection and vitality.

Garnet has been called the "Stone of Commitment" as It facilitates loyalty and commitment both to relationships and to tasks.
