Vintage aluminum strainer, so common in the 50s and 60s. Growing up in my Italian family, we always called it the spaghetti strainer, even if we weren't cooking spaghetti!

This strainer / colander has three aluminum support feet and is "punched" with seven country stars. Two of the feet are firmly attached; one is a little loose (but still secure). I have not tried to shine it up, as often these are used as planters these days - especially for succulents! But I'm sure it would shine up nicely and remove the tiny bit of rust on the feet.

Both handles have rivets that are strong and secure. You could definitely use this in your daily kitchen, or hang on a wall for display. (It could also make a great robot or alien hat for a Halloween costume - just ask me how I know!)

Approximately 11 1/2 inches wide (including the handles). The bowl is approximately 9" in diameter. The strainer is approximately 4 3/4" tall including the feet. Vintage!
