Here is an antique Victorian small sampler with alphabet and numbers, and a verse 'HE BUILDS TOO LOW WHO BUILDS BELOW THE SKIES' By Sarah Walker a.......... aged? This young girl never finished it. Samplers were made by young girls normally between the ages of 6 to 14 years. There is a very good reason why it wasn't finished and I suspect she may have got ill.

It measures approx 9 inches x 10 inches.

Embroidered onto a linen type material.

Overall in good condition with some age and use wear and very minor pulls. It's not framed.

An original antique embroidered sampler, still nice enough to frame up and be decorative in your home.

The item is next to an English 1p.

This item is cheap because it's unfinished.

Please see pictures for more detail.
