Lovely gift for the knitter who loves gardening too!
A medium laceweight single with a lot of loft and finesse in hues of clambering and happy nastursiums that are currently adorning my window box - see pic - and my troughs in my backyard.
Real heralds of hot summer days I wanted to put all that vibrant nastursium energy and joy into fiber form. I handcarded 8 or so rolags in all the colours and then spun them on my Wee Peggy wheel. I hope it says nastursium to you too.
Would make a pretty shrug or cuff detail etc and will knit/crochet/weave in a striped manner.
I used cormo, superfine merino, merino/cashmere blend, wild silk and angelina. The cormo gives a rustic and slightly bobbly texture here and there which I love.
Spun from my own handcarded fibers I prepared about 8 individual rolags using several layers of finely carded and blended fibers creating lofty and soft batches!
Fibers may include some or all of these -
and a pinch of angelina here and there for the magic*

I have soaked this yarn in SOLA by Soak and it smells divine with no skew to speak of.
My spinning and weaving diary is here for those who just cannot stay away from all things fiber!
