FABULOUS vintage table or desk lamp, made of that enduring fad: cracked marbles.

From the 1950s or 1960s, red and clear glass marbles are inset into a brass or spelter base that lights from within.

Working, as you can see. The craftsman who baked and cracked the marbles, and inset them into the lamp, went for a 'flower power' design, as six clear marbles form a daily around a red center.

Marked: F101 on the bottom. The unusual wall socket is also like a flower petal. About 14-1/2" high and 6-1/2" across the base. The column of glass marbles is about 4-1/2" to 5" across. 3 marbles are out, but we have them and they can be re-glued. We'll wrap it well in bubble wrap, but search the box to make sure the old glue didn't let go of any more marbles in transit.

A real, rare vintage conversation piece in retro red and hippie florals. Pop of color, texture, eye candy appeal ... decorator bells and whistles!

Or ... if the lamp is right and the colors not, do up marbles in your own color scheme and replace these! It can be a perfect match to your decor.
